Date: Wed, 01 Sep 1999 20:04:38 -0400 From: Nick Palmer <npalmer@fuse.net> To: jbowrho@shout.net I've seen a couple of your postings and decided to contact you directly. I have a Lucinda Amos who married a Malachi Parmer (Palmer) in my line in about 1801. You also showed a Lucinda Amos in one of your postings. I'm wondering if they're the same Lucinda. Malachi was the son of William Parmer, who made a deposition in 1807 in Patrick Co. that his name was Parmer and not Branham. He was the illegitamate son of Gracy Parmer and Richard Branham. A legend has it that Richard and a Native American women had William but the VA laws of color made this a complication for William to have land etc. One of your postings toucheD One of your postings toucheDSubject: Amos Line & Malachi Parmer(Palmer?Branham?)
